Maple Syrup Creation
Our 20 acre maple syrup bush/forest has over 1000 taps to gather the maple tree sap in vacuumed tubing which collects the sap into a stainless steel storage tank. The sap is then gravity fed and heated to a boiling temperature in our efficient wood burning evaporator. 40 litres of sap must be evaporated in order to produce only 1 litre of quality syrup.
